    ·        Clara Hoffmann  - “Michelle” (Beatles), “Reality” (Sanderson) , “Alone again (Naturally)” Gilbert O’Sullivan, “Breakfast in America” (Supertramp), “Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son” (France Gail)
    ·        Birthname: Clara Hoffmann
    ·        Birth date: 10th March of 1951
    ·        Birth-place: Long Island, New York State, U.S.A
    ·        Sexual Orientation: Homosexual
    ·        Working as : Trainee of Cloth Designing in the Von Tifon Ladies Enterprises
    ·        Parents: Elon Hoffmann and Helen Böhmer
    ·        Religion: Judaism

Clara has everything to seem like the typical “Jewish-American princess” of a 50’s or 60’s sitcom: fairly wealthy, the “brownish haired belle” of her high school, many Catholic and Protestant boys did tried to date her or ask her to be girlfriend. Clara is (as her mother always wished to underline, even in death) the “American princess” she always yearned to have.

Her early childhood is spent in her “Aunties’ Castle”, in which Aunt Sisel and Hyasuko Murakami – as well as Sara Von Tifon – welcome her warmly.

Unfortunately, her mother’s dreams shattered when Helen Böhmer died out of a pneumonia. Clara Hoffmann began to be raised by her father’s lover, Halenya Softriver, a sturdy half-Russian, half Native American woman whose passion is art and horses in her western country farm.  It is in this inner American scenery that Clara finds her own inspiration to draw.

As Clara begins to grow, so does her disappointment with modern American society grows. Her stepmother then begins to tell her about Bellanária Isles and how there the ancient Tribes have not yet disappeared and where women are greatly respected.

A place where the Gods and the spirits still dwell among Humans... My grandfather told me that his great-grandfather told him, and so beyond, that just before the Europeans began to settle down in here, powerful creatures known as Onisamatzeka sorcerers protected the native Bellanians and their many clans and tribes.

This is what makes the eighteen year old make sure she has a clothing design and fashion scholarship in Cy-bata Teito.

It is only in her 23rd birthday that Clara finishes her degree. With the training money she receives monthly, Clara begins to pay her apartment rent she bargained from her father. Since her sixteenth birthday – and due to the fact she caught him eyeing another woman other than Halenya Softriver – Clara hardly speaks to her somewhat stern, superficial and cold father, who wished her to “look a more common way of life and settle down”, marry a Jewish man that is. In her seventeenth birthday, her father caught her kissing a female distant cousin of Halenya. Her father always has chosen to deny her sexuality.

Midori Kato - her older nextdoor neighboor who Clara knows as "Lieutenant Asagawa" and after two years begins to call her by Miss Midori - is such a reference to her that Clara actually begins to develop a crush on this distant, stunningly beautiful and mysterious Northern Bellanian policewoman
